If the giant title on my home page didn't give it away, I’m Charlotte Worwood - a digital storyteller, social media strategist, and all-around creative. Whether I’m crafting engaging content, editing videos, or building brand voices, I bring ideas to life with a mix of strategy and imagination. With a background in media, marketing, and even film and TV, I thrive on creativity—both online and off. When I’m not working, you’ll find me lost in a great* book, gaming, or cheering on several different sports on and off screen.

SWATCOM/ Talking Headsets​ — ​Social Media Manager

SEPTEMBER 2023 - PRESENT

I manage social media strategy across the businesses' "main" platforms, handling content creation, community engagement, and customer service. My work includes videography, photography, video editing, and copywriting, and I ensure brand consistency in every area of the business.

I oversee social media planning, trend monitoring, and analytics to refine content strategies. Additionally, I manage our influencer and ambassador relations, website content, blog writing, and digital asset organisation.

My goal has always been to enhance brand presence through digital storytelling and engagement. Which I think has been achieved. During our most recent show people were buying products because - and I quote “it has SWATCOM on it“… I mean if that isn’t brand awareness, I don’t know what is.

Rooster Marketing – Social Media Specialist / Video Editor/ Animator

JUNE 2022 – SEPTEMBER 2023

I was assigned a hybrid position within the company. As part of my role, I was responsible for video editing and animating projects, catering to various clients. I handled multiple clients' social media accounts across the “main” platforms such. Moreover, I was also involved in influencer marketing, outreach, and community management tasks. It's worth mentioning that the clients I worked with varied greatly, ranging from beverage manufacturers to a renowned photography equipment company, so I had to swap between various styles of content and tones of voice.

PERSNL – Digital Marketing and Social Media

APRIL 2022 - JUNE 2022

Creating content and brainstorming new ideas for advertising purposes. Running all social media platforms. Aiding in day-to-day tasks for the business. Creating products, brainstorming and testing new products. Updating the website and Google Ads.

Film/ TV – Multiple roles

2015 - 2022

It started as an undercover operation to gain Production experience from both sides of the camera – absorbing as much information as possible about the running of a set. Then, after becoming a trusted crew member (and useful go-to for an extra pair of hands wrangling SAs), I began working with the PAs or ADs, depending on the set.

It’s Not Finished Yet – Creative Business

2020 – 2022

Self-taught to become entirely self-sufficient working with clay, textiles, paint, lighting – you name it! Being a one-person team has led to developing invaluable transferable skills – from budgeting to design proficiency to creating animated GIFs.

    Now know as Film, Television and Digital Production this course saw me spending my time delving into the world of visual storytelling at Royal Holloway. The course combined production skills with critical media theory, enabling me to refine my filmmaking, screenwriting, and digital storytelling abilities. It was a journey of both practical experience and creative exploration. This course has helped to provide me with the tools and insights needed to make an impact any job role I have taken on.

    My time at college made it clear that I wanted to pursue a creative career. I realised how much I enjoyed telling stories through visuals. This I now see led me to focus on how digital content connects with people, where I now continue to blend creativity with communication.
